| dc.description.abstract | The experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period of November 2015 to April 2016. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with three replications. Three varieties of brinjal viz. Narsingdhi 0 3 : Open field or control, T 1 : 20 mesh PEN and T : 40 mesh PEN. The treatments influenced significantly on most of the parameters. Among varieties, maximum gross yield ii 2 while minimum in V 2 1 . In case of PEN; gross yield 2 whereas minimum in T .
