| dc.description.abstract | A field experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from September 2019 to March 2020 to find out the influence of clybio on growth and productivity of tomato varieties. The experiment was designed in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. There were two factors, Factor A: Four tomato varieties; BARI Tomato14 (V 1 ), BARI Tomato-17 (V 2 ), BARI Tomato-18 (V 3 ii ) and BARI Tomato-21 (V 4 ). Factor B: Clybio concentration; control (C 0 ); Clybio 2 ml/L (C 1 ) and Clybio 4 ml/L (C 2 ). There were 12 treatment combinations. Among varieties highest number of flower per cluster (8.57), number of fruit per cluster (6.48), number of fruit per plant (34.22), fruit yield (96.39 t/ha) was obtained at V 1 and lowest number of fruit per cluster (4.18), number of fruit per plant (14.33) and fruit yield (73.08 t/ha) was obtained at V 2 . In case of clybio treatments maximum fruit yield (91.74 t/ha) was found from C 2 and minimum fruit yield (74.39 t/ha) was found from C 0 . In combination of two factors maximum fruit yield (105.0 t/ha) was recorded from the V 1 C 2 and minimum fruit yield (65.95 t/ha) from V 2 C 0 . So, it can be concluded that, clybio treatment C 2 on BARI Tomato-14 provided best result for growth and productivity. | en_US |
