| dc.description.abstract | The experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka to evaluate the effect of phosphorus and potassium on the growth and yield of carrot during the period from November 2012 to March 2013. The two-factor experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. The experiment consisted of four levels of phosphorus, viz. P 0 1 :65 kg, P 2 :80 kg , and P 3 :95 kg P 2 O 5 /ha and four levels of potassium, viz. K 0 1 :150 kg , K 2 :175 kg , K 3 :200 kg K O/ha, respectively. The highest root length whereas, the control treatment gave the lowest results.
