| dc.description.abstract | The experiment was conducted in the Horticulture Farm, Shar-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during October 2012 to March 2013. The experiment consisted of two factors, such as Factor A: Three levels of Gibberellic acid 3 0 : 0 1 : 60 ppm GA 3 and G 2 : 90 ppm GA , respectively and Factor B: Four levels of phosphorus i.e. P 0 : 0 1 3 : 120; P : 140 and P 3 : 160 kg P 2 O /ha. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Gibberellic acid and phosphorus fertilizer influenced significantly on most of the parameters. In case of GA 5 , the highest curd yield and the lowest curd yield 0 . For phosphorous, P 2 1 performed the highest curd yield . For combined effect, the highest curd yield 1 0 P and the lowest curd yield 0 P 0 . So, 60 ppm GA 3 with 140 kg P 2 2 O /ha was the best for growth and yield of broccoli. | en_US |
