dc.description.abstract	The experiment was conducted in the Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka from November 2016 to February 2017. The experiment consisted of two factors, such as Factor A: Lettuce variety : Green wave, V 2 : New red fire, V 3 : Legacy and Factor B: Manure : 0 kg M/ha 1 : Cowdung @ 20 t/ha, M : Poultry manure @ 8 t/ha. The two factor experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Lettuce variety and manure significantly influenced on different growth and yield parameter of lettuce varieties. In case of lettuce variety, the highest yield 2 and the lowest yield 2 . Considering the manure application, M 1 produced the highest yield . Regarding the interaction effect, the highest yield 1 M 2 and the lowest yield 2 2 M . The highest benefit cost ratio 1 M and the lowest benefit cost ratio 2 M . So, variety Green wave with Poultry manure @ 8 t/ha can be used for lettuce production.	en_US
