| dc.description.abstract | The experiment was conducted in the Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during November 2016 to January 2017. The experiment consisted of two factors, such as Factor A: Seedling age 1 : Transplanting of 15 days old seedlings, S : Transplanting of 20 days old seedlings, S 3 ii 2 : Transplanting of 25 days old seedlings and Factor B: Levels of nitrogen 0 : 0 kg N/ha 1 : 80 kg N/ha, N : 90 kg N/ha and N : 100 kg N/ha. The two factorial experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Seedling age and levels of nitrogen influenced significantly on most of the parameters. In case of seedling age, the highest yield 3 and the lowest yield 3 . For levels of nitrogen, N 2 2 performed the highest yield . For combined effect, the highest yield 2 N 2 0 and the lowest yield 3 N . The highest benefit cost ratio 0 2 N 2 and the lowest benefit cost ratio . So, transplanting of 20 days old seedlings with 90 kg N/ha can be used for letuce production. | en_US |
