| dc.description.abstract | Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of seed borne pathogens of selected imported hybrid rice varieties on seed germination and seedling vigor during the period of January to December, 2012 at Department of Plant Pathology, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Five fungal species and two bacterial strains of a bacterium were isolated and identified from selected imported hybrid rice varieties namely Tia, Moyna and Richer. Seed borne fungal genera Aspergillus, Fusarium, Bipolaris and Alternaria were isolated and identified from blotter method. Most frequently isolated fungi were Aspergillus flavus | en_US |
