dc.description.abstract A field experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period from October 2016 to May 2017. The experiment consisted of two factors such as Factor A: Micronutrients - control, MN 1 II -36 ppm of each micronutrient, MN 2 – 72 ppm of each micronutrient and MN 3 – 108 ppm of each micronutrient and Factor B: Mulches - Control, M 1 - Water hyacinth, M 2 - Rice straw, M 3 - Black polythene. This experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results of the experiment showed that the foliar application of micronutrients and mulches had significant effect on most of the parameters. Maximum number of spike and minimum number of spike flowering and corm production in Gladiolus. en_US
