dc.description.abstract The study was conducted at the Horticultural Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. Dhaka during the period from March to July 2008. The experiment consisted with two factors. Factor A : Three Planting times: 11 1 :10 March; P2 : 25 March and P3 : 9 April and Factor B: Four levels spacing; S 1: 60 cm x 30 cm: 52: 60 cm x 40 cm; 83: 60 cm x 50 cm and 54: 60 cm The experiment was laid out with Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. In case of planting time the highest yield (27.90 1./ha) was observed from P2 and the lowest (24.62 tlha) was found in P 1 . In case of spacing the highest yield (29.40 1/ha) was found in S 1 and the lowest (21.64 tlha) was recorded from S1 . For combined effect the highest yield (31.85 tJha) was observed from P7S3 and the lowest (20.47 1./ha) was recorded from P1 S1 . So. it may be concluded that 25 March planting time with 60 cm spacing are suitable for growth and yield of Indian Spinach. en_US
