dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted at the Horticultural Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, during the period from November 2008 to February 2009. The experiment consisted of two factors. Factor A: four levels of phosphorus viz., P 0 : 0 kg 1 : 50 kg, P respectively and Factor B: three levels of boron viz., B and B 2 : 2.0 kg H 3 BO 3 2 : 60 kg, and P 0 3 : 70 kg P : 0 kg /ha respectively. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design significant variation was observed in different parameters. For Phosphorus highest yield highest yield 3 and lowest 2 0 1 2 O 5 /ha : 1.5 kg, . For Boron and lowest combined effect highest yield t/ha) 0 B 2 . The highest benefit cost ratio was found in P 3 B Phosphorus with 2 kg Boron was found suitable for growth and yield of carrot. 2 0 . For and lowest 3 B 2 . So, 70 Kg en_US
