dc.description.abstract An experiment was carried out to find out the effect of hot water treated wheat straw on the growth and yield of oyster mushroom C for 3 hours. The duration C for 3 hours. Average number of primordia 0 C for 2 hours. Oyster mushroom grown on wheat straw treated at 80 C for 1 hours gave the highest average number of fruiting body/packet 0 C for 3 hours. The highest average weight of individual fruiting body 0 C for 1 hour. The highest diameter of stalk C for 3 hours. The highest average length of stipe C for 2 hours.
