dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted in the field of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period from November, 2009 to January, 2010. The experiment consisted of two factors. Factor A: Nitrogen 0 : 0 : 100 and N : 150 kg/ha respectively; and Factor B: Plant spacing 1 3 : 40 cm × 20 cm, S 2 : 40 cm × 25 cm; S : 40 cm × 30 cm. The Experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design 3 3 1 : 50; N and lowest . In case of spacing the highest yield and lowest . For interaction effect, the highest yield 1 3 S and lowest 0 S 1 2 . The highest BCR value and lowest 0 S . So, 150 kg/ha urea with spacing of 40 cm × 25 cm were best for growth and yield of lettuce. en_US
