Abstract:
A pot experiment was conducted at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka from
November 2021 to March 2022 in Rabi season to study the effect of different composted
plant species on water stress effect of wheat. The experiment consisted of two factors and
followed a Completely Random Design (CRD) with three replications. Factor A.

decreased due to drought stress conditions, and the lowest grain yield plant

. Therefore, it may
suggested that wheat cultivation with proper irrigation, as well as soil incorporated with
rice straw, wheat straw, sunflower, and khasari composted materials, would influence
plant growth, retain soil moisture and nutrient content and increase its ability to enhance
better wheat yield production.
