dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted in the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agriculture University, Dhaka, during the period from April to October 2011 to find out the effect of light intensity and fertilizer management on growth and yield of summer tomato. The experiment consisted of two factors. Factor A : Light intensity :50%PAR 2 :75%PAR;L 3 1 :100%PAR and Factor B: Fertilizer Management 0 :Control 1 :Urea 200 kg/ha +MP 150 Kg/ha ; F 2 :Urea 350 kg/ha +TSP 250 kg/ha +MP 180 Kg/ha 300kg/ha ; andF 400 kg/ha +TSP 300 kg/ha +MP . The experiment was laid out in the two factors Randomized Complete Block Design 210 Kg/ha and the lowest yield 0 2 .The highest yield .The lowest yield 1 .The highest yield 2 2 L .The lowest yield 1 L 1 2 . The highest and the lowest 0 L .It was apparent from the above result that the combination of F 2 L 2 1 was better in production of BARI Tomato-4 en_US
