dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted in the Horticulture farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, during October 2010 to April 2011 to find out the effect of organic manure and spacing on the growth and yield of tomato. The experiment consisted of two factors. Factor A: Four levels of organic manures, viz. M 0 : Manure : Cowdung 2 : Vermicompost : Compost 1 : 60 cm x 60 cm, S 2 3 : 60 cm x 45 cm and S : 60 cm x 30 cm. The two factor experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design 2 and the lowest . In case of spacing the highest yield 1 0 and the lowest . For combined effect the highest yield 2 S and the lowest 0 S 1 1 . The highest benefit cost ratio . So, vermicompost en_US
