dc.description.abstract An experiment was conducted at the Horticulture farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, during the period from November 2010 to March 2011 to study the performance of mini seedling tubers derived from true potato seed as influenced by its size and clump planting. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications and includes four levels of seedling tuber size, viz. 6-<7 g 1 2 3 -1 , viz. 1 hill -1 1 -1 2 -1 -1 -1 4 while the lowest from S . On the other hand, the highest tubers hill -1 -1 1 -1 3 while the lowest from N 1 . The highest tubers hill -1 -1 -1 and the lowest gross tuber yield -1 1 N . The highest benefit cost ratio 4 N 1 1 . So, it can be concluded that, 9-≤10 g seedling tuber size with 1 seedling tuber hill -1 were found suitable for potato production. en_US
