Abstract:
The present study was conducted at the research farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural
University, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207 during the period from February 2021
to July 2021 to observe the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus for the growth and
development of BARI panikachu-1 (Colocasia esculenta). Single factor experiment
consisted of 8 treatments viz. T

each treatment except control. This experiment was laid out in randomized complete
block design (RCBD) with three replications. Results indicated that the treatment T

parameters. In terms of pH and nutrient status in post harvest soil, available S content
varied significantly but pH, organic carbon (OC) and available P content was nonsignificant
among the treatments. The maximum S content (29.37 ppm) was found
from the treatment T
