A field experiment was conducted at the experimental field of Sher-e-Bangla
Agricultural University (SAU) farm, Dhaka, during the period from October 2016 to
May 2017 to study the influence of variety and water deficiency on the growth and
yield of boro rice under the Modhupur Tract (AEZ-28). The experiment consisted of 2
rice varieties {BRRI dhan74 (V

this experiment, all the genotypes varied significantly for all the parameters by their
interaction with water deficiency. The highest plant height (88.31 cm) was recorded in
