dc.description.abstract An experiment was carried out at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University farm, Dhaka to study the yield and economics of mungbean as influenced by integrated nutrient management during kharif-2 season from the month of October to December, 2018. The treatments of the experiment are various combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers on mungbean (BARI Mung-6). The treatments are T 1 = Recommended dose of fertilizers (RDF),T 2 = Poultry manure (PM) @ 3 t ha -1 , T 3 = Compost @ 2 t ha -1 , T 4 ii = PM + RDF, T 5 = Compost + RDF, T 6 = PM + 50% RDF, T 7 = Compost + 50% RDF, T 8 = PM+ NPK,T 9 = Compost + NPK, T 10 = PM + NP, T 11 = Compost+ NP, T 12 = PM + NK , T 13 = Compost + NK, T 14 = PM + PK, T 15 = Compost + PK. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. Results showed that different treatments significantly differed the yield contributing characters and economics of mungbean. The highest seed yield (1.80 t ha -1 ) was recorded in T 12 (PM + NK) treatment with highest BCR. On the other hand, the lowest seed yield (0.92 t ha ) was found in treatment T 3 (Compost) and the lowest BCR is 1.26 obtained from treatment T 5. The application of poultry manure along with urea and MoP can supplement other essential nutrients to plants and increase production with an increased BCR. en_US
