Abstract:
Mango is one of the most economically important fruit facing greater problems in storage
because of its perishable nature and reduction of quality. Application of biopreservatives
is a key step to improve its quality and shelf life. An experiment was conducted to study
the effect of different biopreservatives on ripening behavior, physiological changes of
mango cv. ‘Amrapali’ under different storage temperatures. This study was carried out at
the Postharvest Laboratory of Department of Horticulture, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural
University, Dhaka. Five postharvest preservatives e.g. P
