dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted in the Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during October 2018 to February 2019. The experiment consisted of two factors, such as Factor A: Boron (3 levels) as- B 0 : 0.0 kg B ha -1 , B 1 : 1.0 kg B ha -1 , B 2 : 2.0 kg B ha ii -1 and Factor B: Zinc (4 levels) as- Zn 0 : 0.0 kg Zn ha -1 , Zn 1 : 1.0 kg Zn ha -1 , Zn 2 : 2.0 kg Zn ha -1 , Zn 3 : 3.0 kg Zn ha which was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Different levels of boron and zinc influenced significantly on most of the studied parameters. In case of levels of boron, the highest curd yield (23.30 t ha ) was recorded from 2.0 kg B ha -1 and the lowest yield (19.07 t ha -1 ) was found from 0.0 kg B ha -1 . For levels of zinc, 3.0 kg Zn ha -1 performed the highest curd yield (23.40 t ha -1 ) and the lowest yield (19.01 t/ha) was recorded from 0.0 kg Zn ha . For combined effect, the highest curd yield (26.00 t ha -1 ) was found from B 2 and the lowest yield (18.04 t ha -1 ) from recorded B 0 Zn 0 . The highest benefit cost ratio (2.50) was observed from treatment combination B 2 Zn 3 and the lowest (1.74) was found from B 0 Zn 0 . So, 2.0 kg B ha -1 with 3.0 kg Zn ha -1 should better performance in terms of growth, yield and yield contributing characters of broccoli. en_US
