dc.description.abstract The present study was conducted at the Horticultue farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University to study the response of growth, flowering and yield of bitter gourd influenced by NPK fertilizers and NAA during the period of March to June, 2018. Four levels of NPK fertilizers viz, N 0 ii (N 0 P 0 K 0 kg ha -1 ), N 1 (N ), N 2 (N 35 P 20 K 25 kg ha -1 ) and N 3 (N 45 P 30 K 35 kg ha -1 25 P 10 K 15 ) and three levels of NAA viz, H (0 ppm NAA), H 1 (50 ppm NAA) and H (100 ppm NAA) were laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with the three replications. Treatment combination of NPK fertilizers and NAA, the highest number of branches plant 2 -1 (14.20), number of male flowers (33.20), number of female flowers (28.20), percent fruit set (33.32%), fruit length (12.62 cm), fruit diameter (8.56 cm), fruit weight plant (1.47 kg), number of fruits plant -1 (20.40), fruit weight plot -1 1 ) were achieved from the treatment combination of N -1 kg ha (2.94 kg) and fruit yield (24.52 t ha 2 H . The lowest fruit yield (8.60 t ha -1 ) was recorded from N 0 H 0 2 . In terms of economic analysis, the highest BCR (3.01) was obtained from the treatment combination of N 2 H ) whereas the lowest BCR (1.14) was obtained from N 0 H 0 . en_US
