dc.description.abstract A study was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka to find out the effect of cowdung and vermicompost on growth and yield of chilli. The experiment consisted of two factors Factor A: Different levels of cowdung such as C 0 : 0 t ha -1 , C 1 : 10 t ha -1 , C 2 : 15 t ha -1 and C ; Factor B: Different levels of vermicompost such as V 0 : 0 t ha -1 , V 1 : 5 t ha : 7 t ha -1 . The two factors experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. In case of different levels of cowdung, the highest number of fruits per plant , while the lowest number of fruits per plant . For different levels of vermicompost, the highest number of fruits per plant , whereas the lowest number of fruits per plant 1 . Due to interaction effect, the highest number of fruits per plant 0 whereas the lowest number of fruits per plant 0 V From growth and yield point of view, it is apparent that the combination of15t/ha cowdung and 5t/ha vermicompost was suitable for chilli cultivation. en_US
