dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during April to August 2015. BARI Dherosh-1 was used in this experiment. The experiment consisted of two factors viz., Potassium fertilizer as K 0 : 0 kg K 2 O/ha 1 : 60 kg K 2 O/ha, K 2 : 90 kgK 2 O/ha and K 3 : 120 kg K O/ha; and Gibberellic acid : 0 ppm GA 3 0 1 : 60 ppm GA 3 , G 2 : 90 ppm GA 3 2 respectively. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. All the parameters were significantly influenced by different levels of potassium and gibberellic acid. Due to the effect of potassium, the highest yield and the lowest yield 0 . In case of Gibberellic acid, the highest yield and the lowest yield 0 . For combined effect, the highest yield 3 G and the lowest yield 0 G 0 . The highest benefit cost ratio 3 G 2 2 and the lowest 3 2 0 G 2 . From growth, yield and economic point of view, it is apparent that the application of 120 kg K 2 O/ha with 90 ppm GA was the best for growth and yield of okra. en_US
