The experiment was carried out during the period from October 2016 to May 2017 to
find out the effect of planting time on morpho-physiological and yield attributes of
hybrid rice varieties at the research field in the department of Agricultural Botany, Shere-Bangla
Agricultural University, Dhaka-1207. Two planting times viz. 15 December
and 15 January and five different varieties viz. Heera 4, Tia, Aloron, BRRI hybrid 3 and
BRRI dhan 29 were used. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block
Design with three replications. Data on different yield contributing characters and yield
were recorded. Different varieties showed significant variation on different parameters.
