dc.description.abstract The experiment was conducted during the period from November, 2016 to April 2017 to Influence of sulphur and boron on the growth, yield and oil content of BARI Soybean-6 (Glycine max L.). In this experiment, the treatment consisted of four Levels of sulphur viz. 0 kg S ha ha ha -1 -1 ii -1 and three levels of boron viz. 0 kg B ha (control), 10 kg S ha -1 -1 , 20 kg S ha (control), 1.0 kg B ha . The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. The collected data were statistically analyzed for evaluation of the treatment effect. Results showed that a significant variation among the treatments in respect majority of the observed parameters. Different levels of sulphur showed significant variation on all parameters of soybean. The maximum number of pods plant -1 , and number of seeds pod The highest seed yield (1.93 t ha number of pods plant attained from 2 kg B ha -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 , 40 kg S and 2 kg B was recorded from 40 kg S ha ) was observed from 40 kg S ha , number of seeds pod -1 -1 -1 . The maximum and number of seeds pod . Interaction effect of different levels of sulphur and boron showed significant variation on all parameters of BARI soybean 6. The highest seed yield (1.85 t ha t ha -1 -1 ) was recorded from 2 kg B ha ) was found from 40 kg S ha -1 and 2 kg B ha -1 -1 -1 . The highest seed yield (1.99 . The combined use of 40 kg S/ha and 2 kg B/ha along with recommended doses of other fertilizer would be beneficial to increase the seed yield of soybean variety BARI soybean 6. en_US
