dc.description.abstract A field experiment was carried out in Modhupur Tract (AEZ- 28) at research field of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, during the Rabi season from November 2014 to March 2015 to study the effect of Nitrogen and Molybdenum on the growth and yield of bush bean (Phaseolus vulgares L.) cv. BARI Jhar Sheem-2. The treatments consisted of 4 (four) levels of N (0, 60, 80, 100 kg ha designated as N 0.6 kg ha -1 0 , N 60 , N 80 , N 100 ) designated as Mo respectively and 3 (three) levels of Mo (0, 0.3 and 0 , Mo 0.3 , and Mo 0.6 respectively. Urea and ammonium molybdate were used as the sources of nitrogen and molybdenum respectively.
