The experiment was conducted in the Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural
University, Dhaka, Bangladesh during the period from March to June 2008 to study
the ellbct of farm yard manure and chemical fertilizers on the growth and yield of
okra. The red tarrece soil of Tejgaon was silty loam in texture having ph 5.6. The
experiment was conducted in a RCBD with 4 replications and 7 treatments. The
