Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla
Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period of November 2015 to March
2016. The experiment comprised of three levels of sowing time viz., S
= 20
October, S

= 10 November, and S
= 30 November and four levels of mulches
viz., M

was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. All
the studied parameters significantly influenced by sowing time, mulching and their
combination. The maximum fresh weight of bulb per plant
